At the Zoo 2

 

I love going through the American Songbirds Aviary. They're all so cute and tiny!!

The Asian Aviary is full of really beautiful and cute birds as well.

I wanted to draw in the Nocturnal house cuz the Kookaburra was in there and he was really vocal when I was there one day, but I can't see well enough to draw in there, unfortunately.

Crane Center Thunderstorm

I hope it still thunderstorms tonight as well. I've been waiting to watch a thunderstorm from my room windows all year and have been vastly disappointed up until now.

Zoo

Started working at the zoo again this past weekend and even though the weather was rather nasty, I had a really good time painting faces.

After I got off I walked around and drew some of the animals.

Decided to follow along on a trip to donate plasma since I'm sort of bored with drawing in other places.



I ended up talking to quite a few new people and got a lot of good tips on good places to eat around town.

This last young man even offered to pose for me, even though I told him that he didn't have to. But he was very insistent that he be drawn.
